Saw this at my Kia dealer this morning. One of the techs and a middle aged guy I assume was the owner were under the hood admiring.
It was the first time I’d ever seen one in the metal. It’s over the top busy looking, but cool in a ricer kind of way.

Yeah, I realized that when I went to post it. For a split second, I thought maybe it was bent on purpose. There are so many other gratuitous angles on the car.

I am seeing those pop up more in my neck of the woods. Honestly at some angles it’s actually pretty decent looking in person . I wonder what one would be like to daily with.

I’m not ashamed to say I like that car now. I've really warmed up to it quite a bit.

I’ve instructed a couple of people in these at the track and I was blown away at how competent the chassis is. Very neutral, no real understeer, and very direct steering (I’m used to my BRZ, so I’ve got high standards for handling and steering).
My only gripe was that the tow hook covering on the back is super hard to access and the front is way up under the car and unusable in stock form.
The power was good and similar to the Golf R, Subaru STi, and Focus RS. The v8 cars still pull harder but duh.

I’m really not surprised to hear that. I would expect it to walk the talk. The styling is the question mark for me, but for some it’s beautiful.

You can’t see the outside from the inside, the wang does obstruct the rear view some but it’s not terrible. If you have to have a 4 door it wasn’t a bad option (I don’t know about running costs or reliability but Honda is usually pretty good on reliability).

My 50-something uncle just bought a red one lol, lifelong Honda guy, used to race CRXs when I was little. I was really confused in your pic I thought something crushed the wing in the middle.

We’re not supposed to know yet, and he kinda keeps to himself even at family gatherings. Dude loves Hondas though he still has one crx and a couple eg civics in the back yard, and a pilot, and hrv and now the ctr in the driveway.
